Software license for adding support for USB Audio Delay devices
This license adds support for up to 2 USB audio delay devices to your NetPlay Manager.
USB audio delay devices can provide external configurable audio delay for lip sync correction. This is an option when using 3rd party matrix switches (without lip sync correction) for centralized audio with NetPlay sources.
Each USB audio delay device supports delay for either 1 stereo analog audio stream, 2 mono analog audio streams, or 1 digital audio stream (PCM or multichannel audio).
The USB audio delay device hardware is purchased separately via the Amazon link below. The recommended device has been tested by Video Storm and has the following specifications.
- Full range (1Vrms) stereo analog audio input (Line in jack, 3.5mm)
- Optical input and output, supports PCM or multichannel
- Full range (1Vrms) stereo analog audio output (Front out jack, 3.5mm)
- Supports analog input to digital output conversion
- Supports digital input (PCM) to analog output conversion
- Configurable delay, 50 to 2000 ms
Connect your USB audio device hardware to NetPlay Manager via USB. Then configure your delay settings using the "Audio Delay Devices Setup" link on the VMM index page.
You can delay either the audio output of each source (source => delay => matrix input) or the matrix outputs (source => matrix => delay => amp). Use the jacks labeled "Line In" and "Front Out" for analog audio. Use the optical connectors for digital audio. The other jacks are not used.
As with any software license, it is non-refundable once generated.
The software license is generated for a specific device and cannot be changed to a different device.
Software license FAQs:
All NetPlay licenses are tied to the
NetPlay Manager (NVMM) hardware in your system.
When you receive NetPlay Manager, please complete the software registration in
order to bind your new NetPlay licenses to your NetPlay Manager.
NetPlay TV and NetPlay Mobile licenses are perpetual lifetime
licenses. New releases with new features may require additional payment to
enable the new functionality. However, there is
no requirement to purchase these new features in order to continue using your
software licenses (without the new features).
Licenses may be transferred between NetPlay Manager hardwares.
In the case of hardware failure inside the warranty period, there is no charge
for this service. In other cases, there is a small charge for this
service. In all cases, the NetPlay Manager hardware you are transferring
from must be surrendered to Video Storm LLC.
Licenses may be refunded within the return period for the
NetPlay Manager hardware they are assigned to. If the NetPlay Manager is
outside its return period, the NetPlay licenses are no longer refundable.
